I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. 

 

I have an interdisciplinary educational background in social science and engineering and professional expertise both inside and outside of academia in unique global settings across Asia, the U.K., and the United States.

 

These intellectually diverse experiences have informed my research and teaching philosophy, contributing to the scholarship of Immigration, Race and Ethnicity, and  Social Media.
